We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Part-Time CMA Instructor to join our educational team. In this role, you will deliver engaging instruction in Medical Assisting (CMA) curriculum, both online and in classroom settings, to adult learners from diverse backgrounds. Duties
- Deliver comprehensive CMA instruction through classroom teaching and remote training sessions, utilizing educational technology integration and learning management systems
- Develop and update curriculum materials aligned with industry standards, adult learning principles, and regulatory requirements
- Facilitate engaging lessons that incorporate educational technologies, computers, and interactive tools to enhance student learning experiences
- Manage classroom environments effectively, ensuring a positive atmosphere conducive to adult education and diverse cultural backgrounds
- Assess student progress regularly through assignments, exams, and practical demonstrations; provide constructive feedback to support their growth
- Collaborate with colleagues to refine instructional strategies, ensure compliance with educational regulations, and improve overall program quality
- Support students individually by addressing their questions, guiding their lesson planning efforts, and fostering a supportive learning environment
Requirements
- Proven experience in classroom teaching or online instruction within a healthcare or adult education setting
- Strong knowledge of CMA curriculum development, educational technology integration, and remote training methodologies
- Familiarity with working with students from diverse cultural backgrounds and managing adult learning dynamics
- Excellent lesson planning skills combined with effective classroom management techniques
- Proficiency with computers and educational technologies used in modern instructional environments
- Understanding of educational compliance standards and regulations relevant to healthcare training programs
- Prior university or higher education experience is preferred but not required; classroom experience with adult learners is essential
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment

Pay: $20.34 - $25.10 per hour
