Job Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications using Python and C++
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
- Develop prototypes, proof-of-concept, and proof-of-value solutions
- Collaborate with lead and principal engineers to implement technical solutions
- Participate in front-end and back-end software development activities
- Support software architecture, integration, and system performance improvements
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and technical issues
- Work with databases and data management solutions
- Follow cybersecurity, quality, and software development best practices
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers when needed
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong programming skills in Python and C++
- Experience developing and supporting software applications
- Understanding of full-stack development concepts
- Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Nice to Haves:
- Experience with React
- Experience with Kotlin or Android development
- AWS cloud experience
- Experience with embedded software development
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Microsoft Copilot
