Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pest Control Technician to join our team. This role involves providing effective pest management solutions to residential and commercial clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of pest control methods. A commitment to customer satisfaction and safety is essential.
Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest issues and determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Apply pest control treatments using various methods, including chemical applications and integrated pest management techniques.
- Educate clients on pest prevention strategies and the importance of maintaining a pest-free environment.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery safely and effectively during service calls.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, products used, and customer interactions.
- Drive company vehicles to client locations while adhering to all safety regulations and traffic laws.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Experience
- Previous experience in pest control or related fields is preferred.
- Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery is advantageous.
- Strong sales skills are a plus, enabling effective communication with clients about services offered.
- A valid driver's license and valid NY pest control license is a must.
