Industrial Maintenance Technician (2nd Shift)
Location: Nashville, TN (Millwood Inc. Pallet Facility)
Millwood Inc. keeps America moving through innovative pallet and packaging solutions. We are looking for a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to support our Nashville operation by keeping equipment running safely, reliably, and efficiently.
What You’ll Do
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair production machinery, power units, and material handling equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and components from 24 vdc up to 480 vac.
- Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Welding skills and light fabrication a plus
- Read and interpret electrical schematics
- Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate ordering as needed
- Maintain high standards for safety, housekeeping, and operational discipline
What You’ll Bring
- Hands-on experience in industrial or high-volume manufacturing maintenance
- Knowledge of VFD installation and programming parameters a plus
- PLC knowledge a Plus, PLC programming not required
- Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings
- Solid problem-solving skills with a dependable work ethic
- Organizational and basic leadership skills
- Flexibility to work overtime or adjust hours based on production needs
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $28 to $32 per hour, based on experience
