Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers/ Care Partners to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in various care settings. Duties
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure health stability
- Provide medication administration under supervision or according to care plans, ensuring accuracy and safety
- Support residents with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, or memory care needs through specialized engagement and behavior management techniques
- Help with meal preparation, feeding assistance, and maintaining proper nutrition for residents
- Use electronic medical record (EMR) systems to document care activities accurately and promptly
- Facilitate social activities and engage residents in meaningful interactions to promote mental well-being
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by assisting with light housekeeping tasks within the care setting
- Operate mobility aids such as Hoyer lifts or wheelchairs safely during transfers
- Drive residents when needed for appointments or community outings, ensuring safety at all times
Requirements
- Schedule: Hourly (Mon-Fri | 9am - 12pm)
- Preferred Carer: Female
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home & community care environments preferred
- Knowledge of ADLs assistance, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring required
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or Alzheimer’s/dementia care highly desirable
- Ability to perform personal care tasks with compassion and professionalism
- Familiarity with EMR systems and basic cleaning procedures is advantageous
- Valid driver’s license for driving duties; clean driving record preferred
- Certification in first aid and CPR is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to obtain upon hire
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
