We’re looking for a Fleet Systems Technician to join our team in Richmond, VA. This role focuses on maintaining and installing the electronic and technical systems on our specialized fleet. If you’re mechanically inclined, comfortable with wiring and schematics, and not afraid of hard work, we’d love to talk to you.
Training is available for the right candidate with a strong work ethic and a can‑do attitude.
Most work is performed in our Richmond shop, with occasional travel as needed.
What You’ll Do
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electronic cabling, sensors, cameras, and onboard systems
- Build and configure computer hardware and system components
- Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
- Use power tools and hand tools to perform shop tasks safely and efficiently
- Assist with light mechanical installations and system mounting
- Track inventory, repairs, and system configurations using digital tools
- Support vehicle readiness for field operations (travel as needed)
- Work closely with mechanical and technical teams to ensure operational readiness
What We’re Looking For
- Experience with electronic cabling or low‑voltage wiring
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools
- Ability to read and understand schematics and wiring diagrams
- Experience building or troubleshooting computer hardware
- Detail‑oriented with strong documentation and tracking habits
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Excel required)
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- Willingness to work extended hours or travel when required
Nice to Have (Not Required):
- Experience in electronics tech, fleet support, or technical inventory work

Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 50 – 70 per week
