The selected candidate will teach 12 to 15 credit hours of undergraduate level courses each semester from
the college’s curriculum in the Esports Cybersecurity, Esports Video Game Design and Esports
Management major programs, to include supervision of students in laboratory, research and field
experiences. Participation in professional meetings, conducting scholarly research, academic advisement
of students and service on various college committees represent additional duties.
A Master’s degree in Esports is the minimum qualification for this position. However, an earned Ph.D. in
Esports or a related area along with previous college-level teaching experience is strongly preferred.
