J&J Energy Solutions LLC is a hands-on Machine & Fabrication shop in Morris, IL looking for a versatile Shop Technician. This full-time role covers assembly, 3D printing, inventory, and shipping — great fit for someone who likes variety and wants to keep growing new skills.
Responsibilities
- Assemble products, tooling, and custom shop projects
- Manage shop inventory and help coordinate material ordering
- Assist with CNC machining and keep parts moving through production
- Operate and manage 3D printers
- Handle parts and material pickups using a company vehicle
- Assist with shipping and receiving
- Perform quality checks to ensure work meets J&J standards
- Support internal shop projects and general production needs

Schedule & Pay
- Full-time, hourly, on-site in Morris, IL — proposed 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Competitive pay based on experience, with a 90-day review and a path to a raise
- Company vehicle provided for runs
This is a multi-skilled shop position where no two days are exactly the same. We're looking for someone willing to jump in wherever needed, learn continuously, and help keep the shop moving.
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
