Mahoning Properties, LLC is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and self-motivated Property Maintenance Technician to assist with the maintenance, repair, and improvement of residential properties. Work will include company-owned rental properties as well as maintenance, repair, and improvement projects at the owner’s personal residence and other personal properties. The mix of work will vary from week to week based on company priorities and project needs.
Responsibilities
- Perform general property maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance.
- Complete basic carpentry, framing, drywall, painting, flooring, and finish trim work.
- Assist with remodeling, renovation, and property improvement projects.
- Perform routine maintenance including landscaping, cleaning, debris removal, and seasonal upkeep.
- Prepare rental properties for new tenants, including repairs, cleaning, and punch-list items.
- Troubleshoot and complete minor plumbing and electrical repairs.
- Safely operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, ladders, and equipment.
- Keep tools, equipment, vehicles, and work areas organized, clean, and safe.
- Communicate project progress, material needs, and maintenance concerns to management.
- Work efficiently with minimal supervision while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
- Demonstrate the ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team to complete projects efficiently and professionally.
Qualifications
- Basic experience in construction, property maintenance, or a related trade.
- Ability to safely use common hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot and complete a variety of maintenance tasks.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and also work cooperatively with others when assigned to team projects.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Dependable, self-motivated, professional, and willing to learn new skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Company Vehicle
A company vehicle may be provided when necessary to perform assigned job duties. Employees authorized to operate company vehicles must maintain a valid driver’s license, operate the vehicle safely, and comply with all company vehicle policies.
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
