Position Overview
The Equine Mortality Division is seeking an Insurance Operations Associate to join our team in Ocala, Florida. This role is a key member of our operations team and is responsible for supporting the processing and administration of insurance business.
The Insurance Operations Associate reviews incoming submissions, organizes policy documentation, validates information, and helps facilitate the accurate processing of new business and renewals.
We are looking for a highly organized, dependable, and self-motivated individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, learning new systems and processes, and contributing to a collaborative team. Strong computer skills, attention to detail, and effective communication are essential for success in this role.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:
Managing and prioritizing incoming communications
Processing and maintaining insurance records and documentation
Reviewing information for accuracy and completeness
Maintaining data integrity across systems
Utilizing technology and business systems effectively
Supporting operational improvements and automation initiatives
Adapting to evolving processes and business needs
Performing additional responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or relevant coursework preferred.
Strong Microsoft Office and computer skills
Excellent organization and attention to detail
Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Adaptable and eager to learn new processes and systems
Critical thinker with strong problem-solving abilities
Team-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement
Prior administrative, operations, insurance, or customer service experience preferred
Equine industry knowledge is beneficial but not required
