Comprehensive Wellness Centers is hiring experienced Behavioral Health Technicians to join our growing team (Med techs preferred). As a BHT, you’ll provide direct care and support to a diverse group of clients, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. We’re looking for individuals with solid mental health experience who are compassionate, reliable, and ready to make a meaningful impact.
Shifts available:
First Shift: 7am - 3pm
Second Shift: 3pm - 11pm
Qualifications
- Med Tech certification preferred
- Must be able to pass a Level 2 background check
- A passion for the field of behavioral/mental health
- The ideal BHT candidate has experience in acute care, residential and mental health facilities
- Strong assessment, organizational skills, and can prioritize care and communicate with the treatment team
- Must be able to establish a positive, therapeutic relationship with patients, displaying good listening and observation skills
- Sufficient and adequate documentation of client behavior and needs
- Most importantly, he/she exhibits is empathetic and understanding of patient needs
- CPR certified
Responsibilities
- Client safety at all times
- Document client whereabouts incrementally
- Provide direct patient care and support to individuals with behavioral health needs, ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations.
- Maintain accurate behavioral and medical documentation.
- Implement applied behavior techniques and assist in crisis intervention when necessary.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to discuss and follow treatment plans.
