Job Title: Registered Nurse / Nurse Supervisor (Office Work and Patient visits)
Schedule: MONDAY TO FRIDAY 8:00 AM TO 5:00 PM
Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in a full-time capacity, primarily focused on office work and a few patient visits within our home health agency. In this role, you will be responsible for handling administrative tasks while utilizing your clinical expertise to ensure high-quality care for our patients.
Responsibilities:
Provide guidance, support, and supervision to RNs visiting clients for the delivery of non-skilled home health services.
· Assign POC, Assessments and Supervisions to each Nurse on the field.
· Review and evaluate care plans, assessments and supervisions to ensure they align with individual client needs and regulatory requirements.
· Offer training and mentorship to maintain high-quality care standards and professional development among nursing staff.
· Assume full accountability for the maintenance, accuracy, and completeness of client folders and documentation.
· Prepare regular reports and updates on client care, staff performance, and compliance metrics for management review.
· Handle and investigate incident reports and patient complaints promptly and effectively.
· Document all incidents and complaints thoroughly, ensuring accurate records are maintained in accordance with agency protocols and regulatory requirements.
· Implement corrective actions or escalate issues as necessary to address concerns and prevent reoccurrence.
Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Florida with no disciplinary actions.
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing supervision experience, preferably in home health or a related setting.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and other office software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively.
- Knowledge of home health regulations and documentation requirements.
- Bilingual required (Spanish/English)
