What Makes a Bornwell Provider Different?
Bornwell is not a babysitting agency.
Our families hire us because they want professional, knowledgeable, trustworthy newborn care.
We expect our providers to:
Be dependable.
Our families are counting on you. Showing up on time and being prepared for every shift matters.
Know newborns.
You should feel comfortable caring for a newborn at 2 a.m. and know what needs to happen next without needing constant direction.
Be professional in the home.
You are entering someone's home during an incredibly personal and vulnerable season. Discretion, cleanliness, boundaries, and emotional intelligence are essential.
Know your scope.
We want providers who can educate and support families without overstepping their professional role—and who recognize when a concern needs to be referred to a pediatrician, IBCLC, or other healthcare professional.
Take initiative.
The best doulas don't wait to be told that bottles need washing or the nursery needs tidying. They notice what needs to be done and quietly take care of it.
Provide exceptional care.
The little things matter—a thoughtful update to exhausted parents, a clean bottle station, a settled baby, an organized nursery, and a calm presence at 3 a.m.
