Host / Cashier – Alma Gaúcha Brazilian Steakhouse
Alma Gaúcha Brazilian Steakhouse is looking for a friendly, professional, and energetic Host / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, helping create a warm and welcoming experience from the moment they arrive.
You will manage reservations, assist with seating, answer guest questions, and support the flow of service in a fast paced restaurant environment. As a cashier, you will also process payments accurately and assist guests during checkout.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and greet guests with a warm and professional attitude
- Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating arrangements
- Answer phone calls and assist with reservations or guest inquiries
- Provide basic information about the menu and our Brazilian rodízio dining experience
- Communicate with servers and managers to ensure smooth service flow
- Process payments using the POS system
- Maintain an organized and professional host stand
Requirements
- Bilingual required (English and Portuguese or Spanish preferred)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred
- Positive attitude and strong team mindset
