What You’ll Do
As an L&D RN, you’ll provide expert care throughout the childbirth journey:
- Deliver patient-centered care using the full nursing process (assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation)
- Monitor maternal and fetal status during labor and delivery
- Administer medications and manage pain control safely
- Assist physicians and midwives during labor, delivery, and emergent procedures
- Respond quickly to obstetric emergencies and critical situations
- Educate and support patients and families before, during, and after delivery
- Document care accurately and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team
What You Bring
- Active RN license (Alaska or compact eligibility)
- 2 Years Experience in Labor & Delivery
- BCLS Required
