Responsibilities
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Manage customer transactions including cash handling, credit card processing, and retail sales transactions with professionalism.
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, upselling menu items, and addressing guest inquiries promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment to uphold sanitation standards.
- Assist with food safety management practices including proper food handling, sanitation, and storage procedures.
- Support team members by bussing tables, cleaning workspaces, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests.
Experience
- Prior experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to handle cash register operations and POS systems efficiently.
- Food service experience with knowledge of food preparation, safety standards, and kitchen equipment operation.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods while maintaining quality standards.
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing sales data.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and effective communication abilities.
- Experience working in retail sales transactions or café settings is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
