NOW HIRING – EXPERIENCED FIELD SERVICE MECHANIC
Dave's Diesel Repair LLC is looking for an experienced Field Service Mechanic to join our team serving agricultural, construction, and diesel equipment customers throughout East Texas.
Pay: $30-$40 per hour (based on experience)
Benefits: Overtime pay, performance bonuses, paid time off, company service truck provided
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair agricultural, construction, and diesel equipment in the field
- Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, engine, drivetrain, and fuel system issues
- Perform welding and fabrication repairs as needed
- Complete service calls independently with minimal supervision
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding repairs and recommendations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked service truck
- Accurately document repairs and completed work
Requirements
- 5+ years of diesel, heavy equipment, agricultural equipment, or field service experience
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with hydraulics, electrical systems, diesel engines, and heavy equipment
- Welding and fabrication experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Must be able to pass drug-screening
- Must provide your own hand tools (all other tools provided)
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds
