Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems using hand tools, power tools, and pipe threading equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to execute precise plumbing layouts
- Conduct welding and pipe fitting tasks to connect pipes securely and ensure system integrity
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely on construction sites while adhering to safety protocols
- Utilize HVAC knowledge for system troubleshooting and integration within building frameworks
- Assist with remodeling projects by assembling fixtures, fixtures installation, and handyman tasks
- Follow schematics and mechanical drawings to complete plumbing installations accurately across various construction phases
Experience
- Proven experience in construction plumbing or related trades with a solid understanding of plumbing systems in commercial or residential settings
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and pipe threading machinery efficiently
- Familiarity with reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for precise installation work
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, schematics, and basic mechanical principles relevant to plumbing applications
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work effectively at heights or in confined spaces on construction sites
- Previous experience with remodeling projects or handyman work is a plus
- Valid driver’s license for commercial driving duties may be preferred depending on project requirements
