Job Summary:
The Vice President of Global Sourcing & Supply Chain is a senior executive responsible for leading global procurement, sourcing strategy, and end-to-end supply chain operations across a multi-site manufacturing organization. This role drives cost competitiveness, supply continuity, and operational excellence, with a strong emphasis on strategic negotiation, supplier partnerships, and heavy steel sourcing specifically with stainless commodities.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and execute global sourcing strategies for stainless steel and metal commodities.
· Has the responsibility to provide direction for global materials planning and sourcing that meet company strategic objectives. Authority to select and manage personnel, set prices, inventory levels, production goods, and purchase material.
· Lead high-value contract negotiations with global suppliers.
· Oversee planning, inventory, logistics, and distribution.
· Build resilient supplier networks to mitigate risk and tariffs that may impact global sourcing.
· Drive improvements in inventory turns, working capital, and service levels.
· Maintains and protects all company, supplier, and customer proprietary and confidential information.
· Directs, manages and further develops experienced materials and sourcing team to handle North American customer service, distribution and inventory control and purchasing.
· Responsible for the measurement and effectiveness of all processes associated with the department.
· Provides timely, accurate, and complete reports to indicate the department’s status and condition with achieving goals and meeting customer requirements.
· Supports the development, communication, and implementation of effective growth strategies and processes.
· Maintains friendly, professional, and open contact with all customers both internal and external.
· Achieves annual budgeting targets.
· Represent the company with clients, investors, and business partners.
· Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Abilities:
· Expertise in stainless steel, fabricated components and metal commodities.
· Strong Business and Financial Acumen.

· Proven negotiating and supplier management skills required.
· Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
· Extensive knowledge of the principles, procedures, and best practices in the industry.
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education & Experience:
· Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or other related field is required. Master’s degree preferred.
· At least ten years of strong operational experience within an OE / Aftermarket automotive manufacturing environment for stainless steel commodities.
· At least five years in a senior management role required.

Pay: $230,000.00 - $240,000.00 per year
