Jackson Dawson is seeking a Project-Based Recruiter to support our hiring initiatives within a fast-paced marketing agency environment. This hybrid position is based in Dearborn, MI and follows a standard 40-hour work week. The assignment is anticipated to last 3–6 months, with the possibility of extension based on business needs.
In this role, you will partner closely with hiring managers to attract and hire top talent across a variety of exempt and non-exempt positions. The ideal candidate is a skilled recruiter with strong interviewing capabilities, excellent organizational skills, and a solid understanding of employment laws and recruiting best practices.
Responsibilities

Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and offer management.

Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, define role requirements, and develop effective recruiting strategies.

Create and post job advertisements across relevant job boards and recruiting platforms.

Source qualified candidates through a variety of channels, including job boards, networking, referrals, industry events, and professional organizations.

Conduct candidate screenings, interviews (virtual and in-person), and skills assessments.

Coordinate interview scheduling and logistics, including travel arrangements when necessary.

Complete reference checks, background screenings, and candidate evaluations.

Present employment opportunities to candidates and support offer discussions and negotiations.

Maintain accurate recruiting records and ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations.

Provide guidance to managers and employees on hiring processes, policies, and procedures.

Support new hire onboarding and orientation activities.

Handle sensitive candidate and employee information with a high degree of confidentiality.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of full-cycle recruiting experience.

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Working knowledge of employment laws, recruiting compliance requirements, and HR best practices.

Ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Experience:

Experience recruiting for marketing, advertising, creative, or agency-based roles.

Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter.
