Duties
- Safely handle and transport food items from the kitchen to dining areas, ensuring proper presentation and temperature.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including plating and garnishing dishes to meet quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and management to coordinate timely food delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations, including bussing tables and clearing dishes efficiently.
- Support the kitchen team with basic food handling and safety procedures to uphold hygiene standards.
- Use POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders or assist with guest transactions when required.
- Ensure all food safety protocols are followed diligently to provide safe dining experiences for guests.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; a strong willingness to learn is essential.
- Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and proper sanitation practices.
- Experience with serving, bussing, or supporting food preparation in a fast-paced setting.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Ability to communicate clearly with team members and guests in a friendly, professional manner.
- Kitchen or culinary experience, including hotel or banquet settings, is highly desirable.
