Job Title: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) - part-time
Schedule: 3 - 5 afternoons per week, Monday through Friday, scheduled between 3 and 6 pm, 10+ hours per week. Additional morning hours may also be available.
Location: In client homes, childcare centers, and schools around western Massachusetts: Easthampton, Westhampton, Amherst, Springfield, Holyoke & surrounding towns
Pay: $25 to $30 for RBTs, $20 - 24 for techs who need to complete RBT certification (raise-eligible once certified)

What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)
- Provide compassionate, 1:1 assent-based ABA programming to children in their homes, schools, or childcare centers. We do not operate a clinic/center.
- Promote client communication, self-advocacy, engagement, play, and social skills.
- Follow detailed behavior support plans and teaching procedures created by the BCBA.
- Provide empathetic communication and service to parents, teachers, and caregivers.
- Accurately record behavioral data and write professional session notes.
- Collaborate closely with your BCBA supervisor and team to ensure exceptional care.
Who We're Looking For (Qualifications)
- Preferred: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification OR at least one year of experience providing ABA therapy under BCBA supervision.
- Required: 6+ months experience working with children in ABA, childcare centers, schools, camps, or therapeutic settings. .
- The Right Fit: You are kind, professional, organized, flexible, reliable, and confident at multitasking. . . and you are really good at playing with kids!
- Must-travel: You have reliable your own transportation and be willing to travel to client locations from Springfield to Amherst, MA. (No buses or ride shares)
- Reliable commitment: You must be willing to make at least a 1-year commitment to the children on your caseload and maintain consistent attendance.
Schedule & Location Details
- Setting: This is an in-home and community based position. We do not have a clinic or center. We serve children in their homes and private childcare centers.
- Part-Time: 3 days per week = 6-8 hours per week, 5 days per week = 10+ hours per week. Must have availability during our peak service hours (3 - 6 pm).
- Additional opportunities: some additional morning and early afternoon sessions may be available.
A Note on Physical Requirements
This is an active and physical job! To effectively play with and ensure the safety of active children, you must be able to energetically and consistently:
- Sit on the floor, stand for extended periods, and run.
- Frequently and quickly get up from and down to the floor.
- Kneel, bend, twist, and crouch to interact with learners.
- Lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
