Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen to ensure efficient and smooth service
- Manage all aspects of food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain and enforce food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Train, supervise, and support kitchen staff
- Assist with scheduling, kitchen organization, and overall team leadership
- Must hold a current ServSafe certification
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the food service or hospitality industry
- Previous experience in a kitchen management or assistant management role preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Knowledge of inventory control, food costing, and kitchen operations
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
