Duties
- Assist lead teachers with implementing daily lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, and curriculum development.
- Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and helping children develop social skills through effective behavior management techniques.
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive development, fine and gross motor skills, and creativity.
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that complies with health and safety regulations.
- Support toddlers and preschoolers with daily routines such as snack time, nap time, diapering or potty training, and transitions between activities.
- Communicate effectively with children and staff to ensure a collaborative approach to early childhood development.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development.
- Familiarity with classroom management strategies and behavior management techniques to foster a positive learning environment.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Ability to follow lesson plans and assist in curriculum implementation focusing on literacy education, math fundamentals, and overall developmental milestones.

Pay: $17.00 - $17.50 per hour
