Summary:
Responsible for managing multiple manufacturing facilities in a matrix organization supporting multiple lines of businesses. Work in a team-based environment with the ability to partner with and influence cross-functional leaders and stakeholders. Optimize and truly understand the business and financials. Drive consistent results in achieving operational goals and targets identified in Key Performance Indicators (KPI) with responsibility in the following areas, including but not limited to; workforce training and culture development, product delivery within budget, quality and delivery goals, EHS compliance and sustainability, P&L responsibility, continuous improvement, and internal/external customer service and satisfaction.

Pay: $129,332.40 - $172,442.85
Essential Responsibilities:
Responsible for investing to operate four distinct optical labs within the United States.
Oversee management of multiple facilities to deliver requirements associated with respect to quality, customer service, cost, environmental, health, and safety.
Responsible for achieving operational goals and targets identified in “Key Performance Indicators” (KPI).
Ensure consistent processes and procedures are maintained to support efficient operations and enhance customer satisfaction.
Support continuous improvement efforts across all areas (quality, capacity, costs, etc.…), that eliminate all non-value-added processes and waste.
Facilitate team-based approach to strategic planning and implementation, financial and purchasing management, and customer satisfaction.
Lead and develop the skills and capabilities of site management team.
Promote world-class benchmark data to establish best practices and standard operating procedures across all facilities.
Ensure compliance with all requirements of QMS, as well as regulations promoting a safe and healthy workplace.
Direct team to include selection, training and development, coaching, counseling, and performance management.
Job Specifications:
Bachelor’s degree of science or engineering focused on chemical, mechanical, industrial, or electrical engineering, master’s preferred or a related field or equivalent experience. Minimum of 3 additional years of experience in functional area.
Minimum of 6 years of management experience with responsibilities for hiring, training, assigning work and managing performance of direct reports
Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with multiple facility responsibility required
Knowledge of laboratory operations, equipment, workflow and procedures, quality systems, lean manufacturing and EHS
Experience interfacing with multiple ERP, CMMS, LMS, PLC Controls or other technology platforms required
Must be able to drive accountability and performance expectations consistently across multiple geographies and cultures
Exceptional problem-solving abilities to drive root cause solutions that deliver with financial acumen
Manage complex projects where independent action, high degree of initiative and coordination across departments is required
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
Current understanding of automated systems, data, and technology
Ability to foster constructive and collaborative relationships
Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to manage teams and develop people required
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to lead and inspire teams
Ability to regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of his/her job duties
