We are an expanding mobile mammography service looking for:
California licensed mammography technologist with or without experience. We take pride in our training skills. (ARRT is not mandatory).
Tech will perform daily mammography equipment quality control and quality assurance tests established to meet MQSA QC/QA Standards and equipment manufacturer's recommendations.
Tech will perform screening mammograms only.
Job Requirements:
Must have the following documentation:
8-hour digital mammography certificate, CDPH Mammography license, 40-hour mammography training certificate, 15 mammography continuing education credits within the last 36 months, documentation of 200 mammograms performed within the last 24 months (unless recent grad of mammography program) and 25 supervised mammograms performed documentation (unless recent grad of mammography program).
Reliable transportation.
Ability to follow instructions accurately.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with healthcare professionals, co-workers and patients.
Spanish preferred.
Ability to be courteous, professional and caring with patients.
Ability to be flexible with working hours given adequate notice.
Must be willing to travel to different locations daily within Southern California.
Job type: Part-time. Fridays and Saturdays required and some weekdays as needed.
This is also an ideal job for someone who already has a part-time job and wants to work one or two more days a week.
