JK Welding is looking for a dependable Groundskeeper / Facility Maintenance team member to help keep our property, shop areas, vehicles, and outdoor spaces clean, safe, and organized.
This position plays an important role in maintaining the appearance and daily function of our facility. The right person will take pride in their work, stay consistent, and handle a variety of outdoor and cleaning tasks throughout the property.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain company grounds and outdoor areas
- Mow grass using a zero turn mower
- Trim and clean around trees, fence lines, buildings, and work areas
- Apply weed killer and assist with general landscape maintenance
- Clean and maintain scrap bins and surrounding areas
- Empty trash daily throughout assigned areas
- Clean bathrooms and common areas
- Wash and clean company vehicles as needed
- Assist with general shop and yard cleanup
- Operate a forklift when needed
- Help keep walkways, work areas, and outdoor spaces clean and safe
- Complete other maintenance and cleaning duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Experience operating a zero turn mower
- Forklift operation experience required
- Ability to work outdoors in Texas weather
- Strong attention to detail
- Dependable and willing to work daily assigned tasks
- Ability to lift, move, and handle materials as needed
- Must take pride in keeping the property clean and professional
- Previous groundskeeping, landscaping, cleaning, or facility maintenance experience preferred
Work Environment:
This position includes both outdoor and indoor cleaning responsibilities. Daily work will include mowing, cleaning, trash removal, vehicle cleaning, bathroom cleaning, yard maintenance, and general facility upkeep.
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
