Job Summary
We are seeking motivated and skilled fencing installers and welders to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing various types of fences, including wood, chain-link, vinyl, and ornamental styles, ensuring they are secure, durable, and aesthetically pleasing. Additionally, you will perform welding tasks to assemble and repair fencing components, contributing to high-quality construction projects. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret construction plans, technical drawings, and specifications to accurately execute fencing and welding projects.
- Install different types of fences using hand tools, power tools, and building materials according to safety standards and project requirements.
- Perform welding tasks such as cutting, shaping, and joining metal components to create sturdy fence structures.
- Prepare work sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding or supports, and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Conduct heavy lifting of fencing materials and equipment safely to ensure efficient workflow on construction sites.
- Use masonry skills for concrete forming or setting posts where necessary for fence stability.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and project progress for quality assurance.
Skills
- Construction experience with a focus on fence installation or related building projects.
- Proficiency in carpentry, frame carpentry, masonry, or concrete finishing is highly advantageous.
- Welding expertise including knowledge of different techniques such as MIG or TIG welding.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and safety procedures related to power tool operation.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and construction plans accurately.
- Experience working on construction sites with knowledge of site safety protocols.
- Physical strength for heavy lifting and working in various weather conditions.
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance or hardscape installation is a plus but not required.

Pay: $17.50 - $30.00 per hour
