About Premier Interior Development
Premier Interior Development is a growing commercial general contractor specializing in high-quality restaurant, hospitality, entertainment, retail, corporate interiors, and complex commercial construction projects throughout Southern California.
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to join our team , with a strong pipeline of upcoming commercial projects throughout Southern California.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a hands-on field leader who takes pride in delivering exceptional projects safely, on schedule, and with the highest level of quality.
Position Summary
The Superintendent is responsible for the overall field execution of commercial construction projects from preconstruction through final completion. This individual will oversee all day-to-day field operations, coordinate subcontractors, maintain project schedules, enforce safety standards, and ensure the successful delivery of each project.
The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a commitment to producing outstanding work.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all field operations from project startup through owner turnover.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.
- Develop, maintain, and drive project schedules.
- Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project plans and specifications.
- Conduct daily jobsite inspections and maintain quality control.
- Lead subcontractor coordination meetings and daily site planning.
- Maintain OSHA compliance and enforce company safety policies.
- Coordinate inspections, testing, and project closeout activities.
- Identify and proactively resolve field issues.
- Maintain accurate daily reports, project documentation, and progress updates using Procore.
- Coordinate material deliveries and jobsite logistics.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with owners, architects, engineers, inspectors, and trade partners.
- Deliver projects on schedule while maintaining the highest standards of workmanship and professionalism.
QualificationsRequired
- Minimum 8 years of experience as a Commercial Construction Superintendent.
- Experience working for a commercial General Contractor.
- Proven experience managing commercial construction projects from start to finish.
- Restaurant, retail, hospitality, entertainment, or commercial tenant improvement experience.
- Experience managing projects ranging from approximately $1 million to $25 million.
- Strong understanding of commercial construction sequencing and scheduling.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- OSHA 30 Certification.
- Valid California Driver License.

- Experience with occupied renovations.
- Ground-up commercial construction experience.
- Procore experience.
- Bluebeam experience.
- Microsoft Project experience.

- Competitive Salary: $135,000–$160,000 annually, depending on experience
