We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Body Shop Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive service and repair, with expertise in assessing vehicle damage and providing accurate estimates for repairs. This role is crucial in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the quality of our services. Responsibilities
- Evaluate damaged vehicles to determine the extent of repairs needed.
- Prepare detailed estimates for bodywork, including parts and labor costs.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair options and timelines.
- Collaborate with technicians to ensure accurate assessments and efficient workflow.
- Utilize service writing skills to document all necessary repairs and services.
- Manage customer inquiries and provide exceptional service throughout the repair process.
- Assist in managing the body shop operations to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Prepare document's and work directly with insurance adjuster's and insurance companies with those document's.
Requirements
- Experience in automotive service management or a related field.
- Strong understanding of body shop operations, including estimating procedures.
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics and suspension systems.
- Excellent communication skills for effective customer interaction.
- Ability to transmit information clearly through service writing documentation.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
