Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and quality standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients for menu items
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling and sanitation practices
- Support the kitchen team with meal assembly, plating, and ensuring timely service during busy hours
- Follow food safety protocols diligently to ensure all dishes meet health regulations and quality expectations
- Help with inventory management by stocking ingredients and notifying supervisors of supply needs
- Assist in catering events or special menu preparations as required, ensuring consistency and presentation excellence
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant settings is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in basic culinary tasks such as chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients
- Experience with menu planning or fine dining environments is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting kitchen operations
- Prior dietary department or dietary aide experience is beneficial but not required
