Qualifications & Experience Sought:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility to obtain) for practice in a school setting
- Previous experience working in schools, specifically at the middle or high school level, is highly valued
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities, comfortable working with students, educators, and families
- Ability to manage an organized caseload and maintain compliant documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide speech and language therapy for students in grades 6–12
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate closely with school staff and parents
- Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions, ensuring an engaging and supportive atmosphere
- Track progress and maintain accurate reports on student outcomes
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive educational environment
