Project Manager – Landscaping, Hardscape & Outdoor Remodeling
We are a growing landscaping, hardscape, and outdoor remodeling company looking for a bilingual Project Manager to join our team.
This is not a traditional office-only project management position. We are looking for someone who is hands-on, organized, reliable, comfortable working in the field, and capable of managing a project from start to finish.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for being the primary point of contact between our company and our clients, while also helping manage materials, schedules, crews, vendors, and day-to-day project operations.
You must be comfortable working hard, getting your hands dirty, lifting materials, shoveling, carrying materials, assisting the crew, and doing whatever is necessary to keep a project moving.
What You Will Do
Client & Customer Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project.
- Communicate with clients professionally and consistently by phone, text message, and email.
- Answer client questions, concerns, and requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide clients with project updates, schedules, progress information, and changes.
- Build strong professional relationships with homeowners, contractors, vendors, and commercial clients.
- Handle difficult situations professionally and find solutions when problems arise.
- Maintain excellent customer service before, during, and after each project.
- Communicate clearly with both English- and Spanish-speaking clients.
This position requires strong availability for client communication during the workday and occasional communication outside normal working hours when a client situation requires immediate attention.
Project Management
- Work directly with the owner to plan and organize upcoming projects.
- Know what projects are coming up, when they are scheduled, what materials are needed, and what needs to happen each day.
- Help create and maintain project schedules and timelines.
- Coordinate multiple projects at the same time.
- Make sure crews have the information, materials, tools, and equipment needed to complete each project.
- Track project progress and communicate any delays, problems, or changes immediately.
- Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, vendors, and team members.
- Help determine quantities and types of materials needed for each project.
- Coordinate material orders and deliveries.
- Help determine where materials should be purchased and coordinate pickups or deliveries.
- Assist with tracking project costs, materials, and resources.
- Keep accurate records of project information, orders, schedules, and client communications.
Field & Crew Responsibilities
This is a hands-on position.
You will not be sitting in an office all day.
When the project requires it, you will be expected to work alongside the crew and help get the job done. This may include:
- Shoveling.
- Carrying materials.
- Moving pavers, blocks, gravel, soil, turf, and other landscaping materials.
- Loading and unloading materials.
- Assisting with demolition and site preparation.
- Helping install landscaping and hardscape materials.
- Operating basic hand and power tools when qualified.
- Cleaning and organizing job sites.
- Helping the crew stay on schedule.
- Stepping in wherever needed to keep the project moving.
We are looking for someone who is willing to work — not someone who only wants to give instructions.
You will be expected to lead by example and be willing to do the same work you ask of the crew.
Team Management
- Help coordinate daily work with field crews.
- Communicate project priorities and expectations clearly.
- Make sure crews understand what needs to be completed each day.
- Monitor project quality and progress.
- Identify problems before they become major issues.
- Work closely with the company’s internal field manager/crew leadership.
- Maintain professionalism and accountability among the team.
You will be the client-facing manager and project coordinator, working closely with the owner and the field management team to ensure projects are completed correctly, professionally, and on schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Fluent in English and Spanish — REQUIRED.
- Previous experience in construction, landscaping, hardscape, remodeling, or a related field.
- Experience managing customers or working directly with clients.
- Experience coordinating or supervising employees or crews.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Comfortable speaking with homeowners, contractors, vendors, and commercial clients.
- Professional phone etiquette.
- Ability to write professional and courteous text messages and emails.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to solve problems quickly and independently.
- Comfortable working outdoors and in Arizona weather conditions.
- Physically capable of performing the hands-on duties required for the position.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and willing to work hard.
- Must have a reliable vehicle and the ability to travel between job sites, suppliers, and client locations.
- A pickup truck is strongly preferred, but a reliable vehicle capable of handling the requirements of the position is acceptable.

Preferred Experience
- Landscaping and hardscape installation.
- Paver installation.
- Artificial turf installation.
- Block walls and masonry.
- Patio and backyard remodeling.
- Construction project coordination.
- Material estimating and ordering.
- Crew supervision.
- Vendor and supplier coordination.
- Residential and/or commercial construction.
- Experience using scheduling, spreadsheets, QuickBooks, or project management software.
The Person We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone who is:
Hard-working. Reliable. Bilingual. Organized. Hands-on. Professional.
You need to be someone who can talk to a high-end homeowner in a professional manner in the morning, coordinate a material delivery at noon, solve a problem with a crew in the afternoon, and then pick up a shovel and help the team finish the job if necessary.
You must be comfortable taking responsibility and figuring things out instead of waiting for someone else to tell you what to do.
If you see a problem, you are expected to help solve it.
If materials are missing, you are expected to figure out what is needed and get them.
If the crew needs help, you are expected to step in.
If a client has a question, you are expected to communicate with them professionally.
If a project is falling behind, you are expected to recognize it early and help get it back on track.
