Qualifications or Desired Experience:
- Active Professional Special Services License through the Colorado Department of Education (or proof of application, if traveling from out of state)
- At least a year of experience as a School Psychologist, preferably in an elementary school environment
- Outstanding communication and interview skills—able to articulate professional knowledge and past achievements
- Positive, energetic demeanor with the ability to build rapport with students and staff
- Prior experience or strong skills in assessments, direct interventions, and collaboration on individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Willingness to relocate and make thoughtful arrangements regarding area research, housing, and travel if not local
Responsibilities or Duties:
- Provide psychoeducational assessments and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create tailored interventions for approximately 40 students
- Offer individual and group counseling services as needed
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to facilitate student success within the classroom and beyond
- Participate in IEP and other team meetings, documenting recommendations and progress
- Support crisis intervention efforts and help foster a positive, inclusive school climate
