Responsibilities
- Apply expert color correction editing to enhance the visual quality and consistency of video content, ensuring alignment with creative direction.
- Utilize advanced media editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Avid, and Adobe After Effects to refine footage during post-production.
- Collaborate closely with directors and editors to interpret project requirements and execute color grading that supports storytelling objectives.
- Conduct detailed color grading, color correction editing, and lighting adjustments to achieve desired artistic effects.
- Manage photo editing and photo manipulation tasks using Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Capture One, and Adobe Bridge to prepare assets for integration into video projects.
- Perform video storytelling by integrating motion graphics, typography, and visual effects to create engaging narratives.
- Ensure seamless workflow management through content management systems and FTP for efficient file transfer and version control.
- Maintain high standards of technical proficiency in video production, videography, and media editing tools to deliver professional-quality results consistently.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Colorist or in a similar post-production role with a strong portfolio demonstrating color correction editing expertise.
- Extensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (including Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects), Final Cut Pro, Avid Media Composer, and other media editing tools.
- Familiarity with lighting for video production and techniques for achieving desired visual aesthetics.
- Skilled in photo editing, photo manipulation, and content creation using industry-standard software such as Adobe Lightroom and Capture One.
- Experience working on diverse projects involving video storytelling, motion graphics, 2D/3D animation (Cinema 4D or Maya is a plus), and visual storytelling techniques.
- Ability to handle technical aspects of media editing including audio/video processing and color correction editing within fast-paced environments.
- Strong understanding of content management systems (CMS), FTP workflows, and digital asset management for efficient project delivery.
- Excellent communication skills with an eye for detail to ensure the highest quality output aligned with creative visions.
