Position Overview:
As a Pressure Washer at FCS Facility Services at Orlando International Airport (MCO), you will be responsible for performing high-quality pressure washing services to effectively clean and maintain exterior surfaces throughout the airport property, including sidewalks, parking areas, loading zones, service roads, and other outdoor facilities. Utilizing specialized pressure washing equipment and industry-best practices, you will play a key role in maintaining the appearance, cleanliness, and safety standards of one of the nation’s busiest airports. This position may require operating heavy-duty cleaning equipment, working outdoors in various weather conditions, and following all airport and OSHA safety regulations to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pressure Washing: Operate commercial-grade pressure washing equipment to clean and remove dirt, grime, mildew, mold, grease, oil stains, and other contaminants from various exterior surfaces, including concrete, brick, siding, and pavement.
- Surface Preparation: Assess surfaces to be cleaned and identify any areas requiring pre-treatment or special attention. Apply appropriate cleaning solutions and detergents to effectively loosen and dissolve stubborn stains and buildup.
- Technique and Precision: Employ proper pressure washing techniques and nozzle settings to achieve optimal cleaning results without causing damage to surfaces or property. Adjust water pressure, spray angle, and distance as needed to address different surface types and conditions.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times to prevent accidents, injuries, and property damage. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required and exercise caution when working near sensitive areas or equipment.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality and thoroughness of pressure washing services by conducting visual inspections of cleaned surfaces and addressing any areas requiring additional attention or touch-ups. Strive to exceed client expectations and deliver superior results.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and inspections of pressure washing equipment to ensure proper functioning and longevity. Clean and store equipment properly after each use to prevent damage and corrosion.
- Customer Interaction: Interact professionally with clients and other stakeholders, addressing any questions, concerns, or special requests related to pressure washing services. Provide exceptional customer service and represent [Company Name] in a positive and professional manner.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating commercial pressure washing equipment preferred.
- Knowledge of pressure washing techniques, equipment operation, and safety protocols.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and supplies, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach.
- Reliable and punctual, with the flexibility to work variable hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred.
- Willingness to undergo background checks and drug screenings as required.
- Be able to lift/carry a minimum of 50 pounds.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $17.75 per hour
Full-time 3rd shift, Monday through Friday from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM, with occasional weekend work for special projects.
