Atomic Gaming is a veteran founded trading card game store in the Missouri City area that is quickly growing as it serves the Houston area.
We carry a wide variety of singles and products for Magic the Gathering, Pokémon TCG, Yu-Gi-Oh, One Piece TCG, Gundam TCG, Riftbound TCG, Dungeons & Dragons, Warhammer HH/40K/AOS, Star Wars Legion, Comics/Manga and more!

Qualifications
· 1+ years of specialty retailing experience and/or tabletop game experience preferred.
· Strong communication skills, Basic computer skills, Ability to run a cash register, and exemplary customer service. These are all a must.
· Create and deliver a positive shopping experience for our customers through clear, friendly communication and offering genuine feedback to customers' questions/concerns.
· Maintain a visually enticing store that is clean and well-organized; ensure all back room areas including bathroom are regularly cleaned and presentable.
· Create, support and promote new initiatives for the growth of the shop while maintaining a positive, collaborative approach with management and fellow staff members.
· Basic understanding of Discord, Facebook, Tiktok, and/or Instagram preferred.
· Primarily looking for a team member that specializes in the Yu-Gi-Oh at a competitive level able to assist community members with deck building and understanding the meta. Also looking for applicants with this level of knowledge in Pioneer/Modern or the Disney Lorcana card game.
· Be an existing judge or interested in studying to become a judge for any game we carry is a bonus but not required.

· Be engaged with our gaming community by cultivating interest in the games the store carries and events it holds both in person and through social media.
· Create and deliver positive shopping experiences for customers by communicating product performance observations and feedback to buyer in store and on online platforms.
· Be able to receive feedback in an open and receptive manner, support and promote new initiatives, and consistently display a positive mental approach.
· Maintain a visually enticing store that is neat, clean, and organized. Regularly clean private rooms and bathrooms.
Physical Requirements
· Physical ability for standing, sitting, crouching, kneeling, frequent walking, reaching above head and below waist, and standing on a ladder.
· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (ie. product boxes, snack cases)
Additional Information
· Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule including opening and closing shifts. Common shifts include: 11AM-7PM or 5PM-12AM. Highly preferring at least one day each week on a Friday or Saturday.
· Must be able to attend a few offsite events/conventions throughout the year.
· Must be able to work on a consistent, part-time basis without regular disruptions.
· Must be able to attend occasional meetings outside of normal working hours (these can be attended remotely).
