WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We are currently looking for an experienced bar supervisor and bartender to join our front-of-house team.
POSITION SUMMARY & TRAINING STRUCTURE
The Depot Bar Supervisor plays a critical leadership role in overseeing bar operations and general floor management. This position is responsible for ensuring smooth service, managing staff morale, handling guest relations, and resolving operational issues such as comps, safe and money handling, and lost and found. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who can multitask, delegate effectively, and maintain a positive and productive environment for both guests and staff. Hands-on training is provided working with restaurant management and co-workers. This role is covered by a collective bargaining agreement.
POSITION TYPE: Part-Time
PAY RATES: Supervisor shifts $21.25, Bartender shifts $16.37 per hour
POSITION SUMMARY
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
- Oversee daily bar and floor operations, including staff coordination and guest service management.
- Handle comps, guest concerns, safe access, and money-related issues with professionalism and discretion.
- Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and ensure cleanliness and readiness of all bar stations.
- Coordinate opening and closing procedures, including tills, POS systems, lighting, and security.
- Support staff by providing breaks, assisting with service, and ensuring completion of side work.
- Maintain communication with kitchen, marketing, and management regarding specials, events, and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards across all service areas.
- Monitor and maintain morale and productivity among staff to foster a positive work environment.
- Assist with ticket and merchandise sales during busy periods.
- Secure the premises at closing, including locking doors, checking restrooms, and finalizing safe deposits.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Creates a welcoming environment for customers, staff and visitors.

- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and delegate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and safe procedures.
- Knowledge of bar operations, inventory management, and health regulations
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Access all areas of the restaurant to respond to issues
- Regularly required to stand for extended periods of time
- Move products from outside receiving area to designated area inside restaurant
- Place items onto shelves at various heights
- Climb up and down ladders as necessary
- Quickly bend, lift, reach, grab, pull, push, and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Use touch-screen devices and point-of-sale screens, kitchen printer, and mobile devices
QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience in bar supervision or restaurant management required
- Minimum 2 years of previous bartending experience required.
- Excellent communication skills
- Must demonstrate reliable attendance and punctuality
- Must be able to take initiative, work independently, and be self-motivated to produce quality work
- Must be highly organized and detailed-oriented
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- The Bar Supervisor/ Bartender must be willing and able to work flexible hours and a rotating weekly schedule for a 7-day per week operation, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, with regular attendance necessary.
- Must work a schedule that aligns to the business, operational, and customer needs
- Must be available to work nights and weekends for closing shifts
- Must be 21 years of age or older for this role
- Must be currently eligible and possess authorization to work in the United States of America
- Must not require sponsorship by our company for work visas
- Must have reliable transportation
