What You'll Do
- Learn how businesses forecast demand by analyzing historical and current inventory data to help determine purchasing needs.
- Place orders with suppliers through online systems and email communications.
- Perform inventory cycle counts and help investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Inspect products for quality and accuracy, documenting findings and preparing items for shipment or customer pickup.
- Receive incoming inventory, verify quantities and condition, and ensure products are accurately documented and distributed.
- Develop skills in inventory management, purchasing, logistics, quality control, and supplier communication.
