Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing team on a per diem basis in the Oneida county. This position is ideal for a nurse who enjoys working independently while providing high-quality care and support to patients in their homes.
Responsibilities
- Complete patient admissions and start-of-care assessments
- Conduct recertification visits and required documentation
- Perform supervisory visits for home health aides and personal care aides
- Assess patient needs and communicate findings to the clinical team
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with agency and regulatory requirements
- Provide field education and training
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State
- Minimum of one year of nursing experience preferred
- Home care experience preferred
- Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
