Position Title: Early Childhood Preschool Administrative Assistant

SUMMARY
This position provides administrative and office support for the Early Childhood Preschool program within ROE #33. Responsibilities include managing communication (phone, email, and in-person), supporting families and staff, maintaining records and files, and assisting with program coordination activities such as professional development logistics, supply management, and purchase order processing.
This role also supports data entry and compliance processes for preschool classrooms, assists with recruitment and onboarding processes such as interview scheduling and developmental screening support, and helps ensure accurate and organized documentation across Early Childhood services.
The position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with office software and digital tools. The ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a welcoming and professional office environment is essential.
QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, & CRITICAL SKILLS
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Competence in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and virtual meeting platforms.
- Strong oral and written communication skills with a professional and courteous manner.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards
- Understanding and awareness of multicultural needs.
- Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships across programs and with community partners.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs and push/pull up to 10 lbs
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple administrative systems and deadlines.
