As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences by ensuring that all customer needs are met promptly and efficiently.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using the OpenTable system.
- Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials, to assist guests in their selections.
- Upsell additional items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining presentation standards.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order fulfillment and timely service.
- Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently.
Experience
- Previous experience in a server or hospitality role is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Strong math skills for handling transactions and managing tabs accurately.
- Familiarity with food safety practices is advantageous.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently in a nightclub or high-energy setting.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
- A willingness to help colleagues and contribute to a team-oriented environment is essential.
