Responsibilities
- Coordinates and is responsible for purchases related to the Capital Fund Program (e.g., bookkeeping and inventory, etc.) for improvements to structures owned by the Cambridge Metropolitan Housing Authority; assists Maintenance Manager with documentation and other necessary tasks related to the Capital Fund.
- Administrates service contracts; confers with Maintenance Manager to assess proper tenant charges on service requests; follows up on service requests performed.
- Enters materials and contract labor on maintenance turnovers; maintains current spreadsheets used for tracking inspection, fleet, and modernization information; enters materials received into consumable inventory program.
- Issues purchase orders and maintains purchase order books.
- Performs inspections for Public Housing and CMC as needed.
- Assists the public with inquiries; performs general clerical duties (e.g., prepares reports, correspondence, and other documentation as necessary, etc.).
- Performs walk through of properties and maintains the grounds (e.g., pick up trash, cleans parking lots, identifies concerns, etc.).
- Prepares and submits work-related records such as task completed, time spent, materials used, etc.
- Creates Policy and Procedures as needed.
- Maintains safety programs.
- Reports on-job injuries to self or others, the loss or damage of equipment or materials, and any other maintenance-related problems or issues to the Maintenance Manager.
- Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance.
- Meets all job safety requirements and all applicable OSHA safety standards that pertain to essential functions.
Experience
- Completion of secondary education (high school or GED).
- One (1) to three (3) years of experience in industrial or commercial purchasing, bookkeeping, inventory control, or maintenance or equivalent is desired.
- Moderate experience in Microsoft Office Software required.
- Must possess a valid State of Ohio driver’s license; must qualify for an remain insurable in accordance with the agency’s vehicle insurance policy.
Pay: From $42,390.40 per year
