GoldenAid Home Care is seeking a compassionate, patient, and dependable caregiver to provide one-on-one support for an adult with mental disabilities and an anxiety disorder.
Responsibilities:
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Assist with daily living activities as needed.
- Help establish and maintain a calm, structured routine.
- Encourage participation in community activities and appointments.
- Monitor for signs of anxiety and use calming, supportive communication.
- Ensure the client’s safety and well-being at all times.
- Provide transportation to appointments and community outings when needed.
- Document care provided and communicate any concerns to the care coordinator.
Qualifications:
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Previous caregiving or mental health experience is preferred.
- Must be patient, compassionate, and understanding.
- Ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must pass a background check.
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
