Gold Medal Gymnastics is a family-focused gymnastics program located in a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility in Liberty Hill, TX. We are committed to building strong athletes and confident kids in a positive, fun, and supportive environment. Our mission is to help every child grow in strength, confidence, and character—on and off the mat.
As our programs continue to grow, we are seeking passionate, professional, and dependable Gymnastics Coaches to join our team across multiple areas of our recreational program.
Position Overview
We are hiring Gymnastics Coaches to support our recreational and preschool programs, as well as special events, including:
- Recreational Gymnastics (Beginner to Advanced Rec)
- Preschool Gymnastics (Parent & Me to Preschool 2)
- Events & Special Programs (Kids Night Out, Camps, Birthday Parties, Clinics)
This is a hands-on coaching role focused on providing high-quality instruction, maintaining a positive and engaging class environment, and helping recreational athletes develop their skills and confidence. Positions are available for part-time, flexible schedules, with opportunities for growth based on experience, availability, and program needs.
This role is ideal for energetic, motivated individuals who love working with children, value quality coaching, and want to be part of a growing, professional gymnastics program.
Key Responsibilities – Coaching & Instruction
- Coach assigned recreational classes, preschool classes, or events with a focus on safety, skill progression, and a positive athlete experience
- Teach age-appropriate skills using correct technique, progressions, and spotting
- Maintain structured, engaging, and well-managed classes
- Support athlete confidence, effort, and sportsmanship
- Create a fun, encouraging, and positive environment where children feel successful and motivated to learn
Athlete Development, Safety & Class Management
- Follow Gold Medal Gymnastics curriculum, training systems, and coaching philosophy
- Enforce all gym safety policies, spotting standards, and behavior expectations
- Effectively manage groups of children while maintaining a safe, structured, and positive class environment
- Monitor athlete progress and communicate concerns or milestones to leadership
- Maintain a clean, organized, and respectful training environment
Gym Culture & Professionalism
- Represent Gold Medal Gymnastics with professionalism and positivity
- Work collaboratively with fellow coaches and leadership
- Model strong communication, reliability, and accountability
- Assist with events, camps, showcases, and community activities as scheduled
Experience & Qualifications
We welcome candidates with varying levels of experience. Ideal candidates may have:
- Gymnastics background as an athlete, coach, or instructor (preferred but not required)
- Experience working with children in a coaching, teaching, or athletic setting
- Ability to manage groups of children in a positive and structured manner
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Dependability, professionalism, and a strong work ethic
- Knowledge of gymnastics safety standards and best practices (or willingness to learn)
- USAG Membership and SafeSport certification required for coaches working independently; candidates may obtain these certifications during their training period
- Reliable transportation
Job Details & Compensation
- Part-time positions with flexible scheduling
- Hours vary based on role, availability, and program needs
- Competitive hourly pay based on experience, certifications, and responsibilities

- Growth opportunities available for coaches demonstrating leadership and consistency
- Recreational Coaches: $15–$22/hour depending on experience and demonstrated coaching ability
- Coaches-In-Training: $13–$15/hour depending on age and experience. This role is designed to provide individuals with little to no coaching experience the training and hands-on experience needed to independently teach recreational classes through shadowing, hands-on training, and online instruction.

Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
