Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Quality Control Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards through rigorous inspection and analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality control and assurance, with the ability to implement quality systems and conduct thorough audits. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.
Working at the Sample desk, within a Quality Control Dept:
- Prepare samples for customer evaluations.
- Assist sales representatives with Sample order requests.
- Selects products for tests at specified stages in production process, and tests products for variety of qualities such as physical and organoleptic, or chemical characteristics.
- Take the authority to test and inspect products at various stages of production process and compiles reliability of products.
Required Skills of the Quality Associate:
- Must measure accurately making the sample uniform in composition
- Must have experience with Excel, Word and general data entry
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Have the ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Have ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Have ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent and we prefer 2 years related experience in similar field.
Hours: 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, ½ hour unpaid lunch
$18.00 / hour to start - temp to hire
