55% - Provides in-person and/or synchronous instruction across content areas - including Civics, English Language Arts, English as a Second Language, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Workforce Readiness, Career Training, and Student Success - using a variety of modalities and approved methodologies. Delivers standards-based curriculum aligned to the Arizona Adult Education Content Standards through classroom preparation, curriculum integration, assessment and/or grading, and meaningful student feedback. Incorporates digital literacy and technology integration throughout instruction. Utilizes approved contextualized curriculum, the designated LMS, and approved proxy platforms to deliver and manage instructional content.
15% - Serves as the instructional lead and content expert, providing lead-level work direction and supporting the hiring, scheduling, onboarding, and ongoing mentoring of part-time instructors - including building competence with College, District and Arizona Department of Education LMS and Data Management systems. Supports the Instructional Services Supervisor in student case management, instructional coverage, records management, data analysis, and program outcome achievement. Ensures consistent implementation of Arizona Adult Education and Teacher Standards through curriculum development, materials selection, and classroom strategy support. Facilitates collaborative communication among staff and liaisons to address concerns, and actively participates in program-wide events including College, District and Arizona Department of Education activities.
10% - Provides leadership and managerial support to the Instructional Services Supervisor across all aspects of instructional programing, assuming location leadership responsibilities when location leaders are off-site. Partners with the Instructional Services Supervisor and other full-time program staff to drive issue resolution, operational continuity, and program outcome achievement, while ensuring all decisions and policy changes are communicated and aligned through the appropriate chain of leadership. Models and upholds the highest standards of professionalism, collaboration, and compliance with District and Adult Education policies.
10% - Monitors and analyzes student academic and career progress, ensuring timely assessments, accurate data collection, and adherence to ADE Assessment Policy and program processes to meet ADE-mandated outcomes. Assists the Instructional Services Supervisor in gathering and maintaining accurate student data - including attendance, educational outcomes, program goals, and retention - and serves as the location resource for program data for instructional staff. Supports student recruitment for Career Training and Integrated Education and Training pathways, maintains student career and academic goal data, vets learners' eligibility for College and Career opportunities, and serves as the instructional liaison.
10% - Engages in ongoing, job-embedded professional learning. Coordinates, plans, facilitates, and leads regular Professional Learning Community (PLC) activities at both the location and program-wide level, identifying and implementing professional learning that addresses instructor needs and drives enhanced student outcomes, and performs other duties as assigned.
