Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental team for part time/ full time including Saturdays.The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in general dentistry, complemented by specialized skills in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, and restorative procedures. The Associate Dentist will be responsible for delivering high-quality dental services, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining adherence to all safety and health regulations.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations, including patient assessment and diagnosis using medical imaging and dental terminology.
- Deliver a wide range of dental treatments such as general dentistry procedures, dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and endodontics.
- Utilize advanced dental software systems like Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for accurate medical documentation and record-keeping.
- Collaborate with the dental team to develop individualized treatment plans that prioritize patient care and comfort.
- Maintain strict infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure a safe clinical environment.
- Conduct patient education on oral health, hygiene practices, and treatment options to promote long-term dental wellness.
- Assist in dental fabrication processes and manage medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Demonstrate proficiency in medical terminology and anatomy knowledge relevant to dentistry to enhance diagnostic accuracy.
Experience
- Proven experience working in a dental office or clinic setting with a focus on general dentistry procedures.
- Prior experience with pediatric dentistry, including treating pediatric patients with patience and professionalism.
- Familiarity with dental imaging techniques and infection control standards within a clinical environment.
- Knowledge of dental software platforms such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is highly desirable.
- Strong background in performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and endodontic treatments.
- Understanding of HIPAA compliance and medical documentation practices essential for maintaining confidentiality.
- Excellent communication skills coupled with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team dedicated to exceptional patient care.
