Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Driver and take charge of delivering freight efficiently and safely across various routes. In this role, you will operate tractor-trailers and specialized vehicles, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and tankers, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. Your expertise in logistics cargo handling, route driving, and hazardous materials transportation will be vital in maintaining our reputation for reliability and excellence. Duties
- Safely operate tractor-trailers and other commercial vehicles across over-the-road (OTR) routes, ensuring compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards
- Load, secure, transport, and unload freight, including hazardous materials and dangerous goods, following hazardous materials regulations
- Navigate routes using GPS navigation systems to optimize delivery times and fuel efficiency
- Handle logistics cargo handling tasks such as truck loading/unloading, manual handling, and securing freight on flatbeds or tankers
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, shipment documentation, and incident reports in accordance with company policies
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams to coordinate delivery schedules and address route or cargo issues promptly
Requirements
- Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record and proven experience in commercial truck driving
- Experience operating refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or other specialized equipment preferred
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, hazardous materials regulations, DOT standards, and safety protocols for dangerous goods transportation
- Ability to drive manual transmission trucks confidently and handle manual loading/unloading processes
- Strong navigation skills utilizing GPS systems for efficient route planning on OTR routes
- Delivery driver experience with freight handling, route driving, and customer service skills
- Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks such as load & unload activities safely

Pay: $29.87 - $35.97 per hour
