Duties
- Assist with food preparation, ensuring all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and ready for cooking or serving
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, including washing dishes, bussing tables, and sanitizing surfaces
- Support chefs and cooks with cooking tasks, following safety and quality standards
- Handle food safety protocols diligently to ensure compliance with health regulations
- Help serve guests efficiently during busy hours, providing friendly and attentive customer service
- Support banquet events by setting up, serving, and clearing food stations as needed
Skills
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of food handling procedures and safety standards
- Experience with food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen equipment
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and guests
- Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Hospitality background or hotel experience is a plus, along with banquet service skills
- Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding guest services with a positive attitude
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices
